Yes, we live in NYC so we HAVE to see the ball drop, right? This is a bit more challenging with a little one but we thought we have to try. Well, around 6 pm we rode the subway to 50th St (the ball drops at 42nd). We got off and tried to work our way over to 7th Ave. This proved to be challenging. We felt like cattle being herded through the streets. Fortunately, Tivon kept everyone around us in good spirits--giving high 5's and playing peek-a-boo. Finally we were able to get to 7th at 58th St. Needless to say, the ball looked a little small over a mile away. :) We decided that we weren't willing to wait for 5 hours to see a speck in the sky fall 20 feet with a million of our closest (literally) friends. So we took a picture to commemorate the occasion and watched Dick Clark's rockin eve in the comfort of our own home while Tivon slept soundly.
Happily Ever After. . .
The misadventures of two people who get to learn things the hard way but love it!

My friends Scott and Rebekah were there...did you run into them, cause the ball looked the same in their picture! ;-)
Good for you for trying! Hey, you got the photo, right?
