Giddey-up!
Tivon loves horses ever since Papaw Lee took us on a horse and buggy ride. Josh thinks it's funny to encourage Tivon to ride mommy like a horse--especially when mommy has to go potty.

Ok, so there is no denying that this one is a Kiger! He may dress like daddy but I'm afraid he looks like mommy.

Yes, we live in NYC so we HAVE to see the ball drop, right? This is a bit more challenging with a little one but we thought we have to try. Well, around 6 pm we rode the subway to 50th St (the ball drops at 42nd). We got off and tried to work our way over to 7th Ave. This proved to be challenging. We felt like cattle being herded through the streets. Fortunately, Tivon kept everyone around us in good spirits--giving high 5's and playing peek-a-boo. Finally we were able to get to 7th at 58th St. Needless to say, the ball looked a little small over a mile away. :) We decided that we weren't willing to wait for 5 hours to see a speck in the sky fall 20 feet with a million of our closest (literally) friends. So we took a picture to commemorate the occasion and watched Dick Clark's rockin eve in the comfort of our own home while Tivon slept soundly.

Uncle Dee took some family pics--what a great photographer! Thanks!
We were so excited that everyone made it in for Christmas. We came from far and wide--Dominica, Florida, New York and Muncie, IN. Here's the whole Lee family.

This is the farm and lake that Josh's family practically lived on for much of his childhood. We also had our honeymoon on the farm. So it's a pretty special place. :)
We're asking for a trip to the hospital with a combination of Busta, Busta, jr. and a 4 wheeler. FYI, the 4 wheeler was never on while jr. was on it. However, Josh did successfully flip it moments later.

He's a little too happy and comfortable on this deadly vehicle for my taste. I will never have fingernails again from all my fretting.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Here's a picture of the family in front of the stock exchange close to Josh's work.

We had a fabulous Christmas visit with both sides of our family. Of course this was after the fiasco that was our trip TO the plane. We flew out of JFK--never fly out of JFK. We flew Delta--never fly Delta. We took a subway, a bus, 5 elevators, many walkways and were given many wrong directions--never take public transportation to the airport. These are the lessons of Christmas in NYC.

Here are some pics from when we did finally arrive safe and mostly sound.

Tivon LOVED riding all the horeseys at Grandma Lee's house.

He even does a horse sound now. I mean, that's cute.

Here are all the cousins. Despite the cute pj's, could they look more different?
