Could he be any cuter? Yes, I'm biased but that's the joy of being a mom.

Yep you read it correctly, "Mommy is my homegirl." I promise I did not buy this onesie; however, I did dress him in it. I mean, who doesn't want to be a homegirl?

Josh loves carrying our little battery pack. He keeps you warm on these cold nights. It has gotten down to the 40's here--which is the equivalent of a negative windchill for us Texans. :)

He loves the knuckle sandwich!

Josh figured out how to prop ti up on the couch so he can enjoy the x box next to daddy.

Mommy and me!

Now that ti is eating better, you can see Tivon's chubby cheeks. I wonder where he gets those?

What cuties!
We are getting ready to go to a Clemson soccer game. Clemson is actually in the top 5 in the nation. Their games are very well attended and so much fun.

We get alot more of these smiles now that we know that ti is allergic to dairy and soy. He used to have a perpetual rash and painful gas. There was much screaming. :(

Now, I have eliminated all dairy and soy and he is all smiles, as if to say, "thank you mommy for not giving me that horrible ice cream, or chocolate or french fries." Maybe this will jumpstart the weight loss for me. Here's to hoping.

OOOOOOooooo! All the may faces of a little one. Tivon is so expressive.

We thought you should meet our other family member--Missy. She babysits for Tivon while I teach and for the occasional night out for mommy and daddy.
Yesterday, she was getting ready to feed the little guy when she started to feel a little warm. Hmmmmm, Ti gave her a little warm present. Obviously she had to hurry to the changing table. And I thought he saved all those presents for me. . .

So Tivon got his 2-month shots. I know I'm a month behind on posting. I think it's funny that they gave him crayola bandages--as if to say, "Here's a cute band aid. I'm sure it doesn't hurt now."

One of the vaccines was oral and Tivon took it right down. The nurse laughed a little because she said most kids spit it out or at least make a funny face. As I was leaving, the doctor asked how he did with the oral vaccine. I said he took it right down. I continued with, "he takes anything that I give him. I mean, he loves his nasty vitamins." THis is where I should have stopped. Then I proceeded, "He would probably eat rat poison if I fed it to him." My inside voice was yelling, "stop talking!!" and yet I thought it was funny to talk to my doctor about poisoning my child.

I don't answer our door anymore. I'm just waiting for the child protection agency to show up.

Did I have twins?!?

So I was singing to Tivon, "It's time to change your diaper, diaper, diaper. . ." you know how the song goes and I walked into his room. Something caught my eye. There was another baby in the crib. Yes, you read that correctly. For a moment, I thought I might not have Tivon in my arms. Then I thought, no, this is Tivon. Then in a flash, I thought, "did someone leave a baby here?" I know neither of these are rational thoughts but it is also not rational to have another baby in the crib. Although all of this happened in split second time, it seemed like a life long quest to solve the mystery of the extra baby.

When I peered into the crib, I saw Josh's cabbage patch kid Winston swaddled in Tivon's blanket. I mean, I laughed nonstop for hours. Okay maybe not nonstop, but it has been three days and I'm still getting a good laugh out of the ordeal.

By the way, when I told Josh my reaction, he was very pleased with himself.
